Here you’ll find out a bit more about me, the man behind the business, what experience I have and why I started Wholesale Paint Supplies.
Over the years I feel I’ve been extremely fortunate having owned and operated several businesses.
These were pretty diverse, from Solar to Cleaning Contracting Services to businesses in the building industry that employed up to 70 people.
In all that time, I’ve always been involved in the sales side of my businesses.
So if you asked me what one of my strongest traits is, it would be that I have a great understanding of people, how to service them and keep them coming back, and building relationships with them for the long term.
Having spent so many years in the building trade, I have extensive experience with ordering building materials including paint, and have seen firsthand what an effect this can have on your bottom line when you’re looking at enough paint to cover a new housing development or apartments, for example.
In a nutshell I suppose you could say I am “extremely customer focused.”
I’m also a renovator, property investor and homeowner which led me to starting the business you know as Wholesale Paint Supplies
On top of my years in business I’ve also done my fair share of renovations on my own properties as well as my investment properties.
And one thing I always noticed was the cost of the paint. In my opinion paint has always been hellishly expensive in Australia compared to prices in other countries, and as we all know the cost of materials, be it paint, timber or whatever can be the difference between breaking even or making a profit in business.
And that’s why I started Wholesale Paint Supplies…
First I feel it is a good quality product that I hope will make a difference to our customers’ bottom line by selling a good quality product in bulk.
Other reasons are paint will not go out of fashion and I wanted to give our customers an extensive colour range with over 300 colour options, plus primers, and supply quality interior and exterior paints that last at wholesale prices.
That’s why our paints are perfectly suited to developers and smaller builders, councils, retail stores, professional renovation services, retail painting suppliers and the like as they can last anywhere from 5 years to over 20 years depending on which paint you choose.
While I don’t have a crystal ball, the future of Wholesale Paint Supplies looks good. Since I started Wholesale Paint Supplies I’ve also learnt a lot too such as:
- Not all paints are the same quality.
- Many of the exterior paints will not keep their finish or last in Australia’s climate.
- And that it is not time effective to buy cheap paints. When you are working on a building site or getting paid per job rate, you want to do the job as quickly and efficiently as possible so spending twice the time repainting it means you are not saving money, you’re only hurting yourself, your project, the overall presentation and maybe even your business’s reputation.
